March already!?
Getting ready to say good bye to month 3 of unemployment. John and I feel like we're on a 'God watch' as another blogger said so accurately. We are watching and waiting on God to help us as we strive to provide for ourselves. Teaching at CSM and BYUI is bringing in a little bit of extra, which is helpful, but not nearly enough to pay the bills. I told John I'm enjoying being the primary breadwinner while it lasts! I may be again down the road (for real) but he'll be assuming the role again just as soon as he can. We're grateful for assistance from friends in little ways, and social safety nets. We're also grateful for little bits of hope where we can find them. John has had a few interviews at Chick Fil A this week, of all places. An MA and years of work experience, to work at Chick Fil A. But if he gets the position it'll get him out of the house a bit, it's 5 minutes from home, and it shows that he's willing to work hard. We'll see. He's also got a few appointments to meet with people next week that we hope may be fruitful. We have our ups and downs, but overall we're just trying to learn what we can from this trial. Anna is walking now, although she still prefers crawling, my belly is beginning to grow, and the kids are all overall happy and healthy. We are blessed in so many simple ways. We'd still appreciate continued prayers, this may be a precarious year for us financially. Finances sure aren't everything, but they are a big part of life, like it or not. We'll see what the next 3 months hold!

That is great that you are getting some work Suzy! That would be great if something works out for John somewhere--even Chick-fil-A! I think it shows a lot of character!
