Happy Halloween!

From one haunt to another, the most horrifying Halloween wishes! Our little spooks are now sufficiently full of sugar and are laying in bed shrieking with glee. Happy Happy, Joy joy.
This halloween season has been filled with fun and goodies. There was a battalion party, ward party and a young children's party for the whole post. And all of that was before today! The kids and I thoroughly enjoyed a day full of fun. We went to Halloween storytime at the library, then this afternoon did trick or treating at the USO, and then around the neighborhood this evening.
The fun time together was even more pleasant because of the terrible night last night, it was such a contrast in feelings. As the children got us out of bed time and time again last night, I would have preferred a ghost sighting or goblin visit. Actually, the thought that my own children were monsters in disguise, sent to slowly torture me with sleep deprivation before launching a full fledged attack crossed my mind. The musings of a mommy's mind at 3 am are kind of crazy.
