Oops!

Way to get excited too soon! I woke up this morning and the wood for the countertop was all bowed! The good thing is that I got some solid tips from my dad ( a DIY expert) and will be creating a stronger, sturdier, prettier island ( : And of course, we'll still use those beautiful marble tiles. I've got a bunch of sickies here though, and will probably end up that way myself, so it may just have to wait a bit. Oh well- live and learn I guess.
