Our Yard

We lucked out, as our yard contains all the ingredient necessary for a happy family life. There is a tree that Christopher created a slide on, a good corner digging spot, a shed with stairs and an attic space to explore, and a workshop area that could double quite nicely as a playhouse or potting shed in the future. THe very beginnings of out garden be can be seen where John and the children are planting our tomatoes. In the back is an ugly little tree John had planned to chop down- but it is a perfect climbing tree for the boys. Then we have a makeshift herb garden outside the back door. In the entry there are some beautiful glads, and our first hydrangea bush, which we just acquired! I've always wanted hydrangeas! I'll share more later.
