Fortunes

After a celebratory dinner out, we received some very appropriate fortunes, so we thought we'd share.

Theodore: You find beauty in ordinary things. Do not lose this ability.

That is so true- In the eyes of a 3 year old there is so much beauty and wonder in the world ( :

Christopher: Remember three months from this date. Good things are in store for you.

In three months we should be either settling into a new house (IKEA, anyone?), or visiting family (definitely a good thing).

John: You are often unaware of the effect you have on others.

So true, this man touches many people's lives with his kind heart ( I believe ).

Susie: Be alert for new opportunities- pleasure or business.

And with this, we'd like to announce that it looks like the position with the Office of Naval Intelligence is going to come through after all! They are calling later this week to discuss salary requirements, and have assured us that they will hurry the rest of the hiring process along as much as possible. We are so excited at this good news!! It will be a wonderful opportunity for John and the entire family.

Also, the Army finally finalized authorizations for paternity leave, and John will get 10 days non-chargeable leave after Quartus arrives! That leaves more paid leave time for when we leave the Army, leaving us looking at a date in May. Crazy!
