A too brief respite

Oh, it was lovely to disappear for a few days and not think about bedtime, church responsibilities, housework, baking projects, car repairs, the budget, etc. Aahh. But it was not to last. So, I am trying to jump back into life again. I love staying busy, and my church and friends and family but there's part of me that would still like to stop the ride and get off for a while. Doc, are you SURE I shouldn't be on bedrest anymore? Just kidding. The car (John's) is in the shop again ) : but life is good. I love this time of year, interesting politics, beautiful weather, giving thanks and thinking of the harvest, and goofy halloween fun. Just wanted to share the random thoughts running through my head.
